The hearing nearest to the Fort Atkinson area will be held at the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Amundson Community Center (200 Spring Drive) in Cambridge on Friday April 3. </span>The hearing will start at 10:00 am and is scheduled to end at 4:00 pm. If you wish to express your opinion on anything in the state budget, this is a good opportunity.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">If you plan to go, here are a few tips:</span><br /><ul><li>You can register to speak (white form) or just register your opinion without speaking (blue form)</li></ul><ul><li>If you registered to speak you will be given a number</li></ul><ul><li>Speaker are taken in the order in which they registered</li></ul><ul><li>If you wish to be on the top of the list, get there early (9:30 am)</li></ul><ul><li>Speakers are limited to 3 minutes so get right to your point</li></ul><ul><li>If past experience is any indication, expect a large turnout (hundreds of people)</li></ul><ul><li>There will be legislative staff in the check-in area to answer questions and provide direction</li></ul><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8384973345955453122-1408319254180638495?l=fortadvocacy.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>John Mielkehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06898007894178053179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8384973345955453122.post-34602427975958221192009-03-10T09:40:00.006-05:002009-03-10T12:31:02.737-05:00The 2009-10 Wisconsin legislative session began on January 5, 2009 and will end in June 2010.
